Avalon signature

Experience the difference.

Our Avalon Signature massage is a rejuvenating massage treatment, which deeply relaxes and harmonizes the body. It is a relaxation massage and offers you a chance to reduce tension and stress, and to loosen tight and aching muscles. Our classic massage can be customized to your pressure preference.

Body buff

Exfoliation refined.

Deeply nourish and hydrate while buffing away dead and dull skin with this exfoliating treatment.  A body buff is basically a facial for the body: It exfoliates and hydrates your skin, leaving it smooth and soft.  This relaxing treatment is performed with a blend of nourishing oils and dead sea salts.

Deep Tissue

Dig deep.

Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes. This type of treatment is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Hot Stone

Melt away the tension.

Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat.  This massage therapy session truly promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body to leave you feeling renewed.

Pre-natal

The gentle approach.

At Avalon, our prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy.  It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. A prenatal massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).
